Build and operate production-grade backend services for insurance and financial-services platforms. Own services end to end, including API design, Kotlin and Spring Boot development, PostgreSQL data modeling, cloud deployment, Kubernetes infrastructure, Terraform, CI/CD, observability, testing, and production operations. Contribute to platform evolution, AI-assisted development, and potentially GenAI integrations while collaborating in distributed Scrum teams.

Join SAP Fioneer’s graduate program as a backend developer supporting insurance software products. You will develop backend applications, learn ABAP through structured onboarding, contribute to real-life product development, and work with mentors and clients. The role emphasizes Java or other object-oriented programming, analytical problem-solving, logical thinking, communication, and modern development practices including Git and CI/CD. Insurance or accounting experience is beneficial but not required.

Develop ABAP software and features within a cross-functional Scrum team. Responsibilities include designing, coding, testing, documenting, quality assurance, troubleshooting complex issues, and supporting product releases using Agile development methods. The role requires collaboration across distributed teams and experience with SAP technologies, including ABAP, CDS/HANA, Fiori, and OData. Financial services or SAP banking application experience is advantageous.
