Teams at Santa Barbara Neighborhood Clinics (SBNC)

Performs full-cycle accounting duties with emphasis on accounts payable and receivable, bank deposits, reconciliations, and month-end close. Posts journal entries, maintains vendor files and 1099s, supports payroll entries and benefits reconciliations, assists with audits, budgets, grant receipts, and donor reconciliation. Uses SAGE Intacct and Excel; adheres to HIPAA and IT security while supporting patient-centered medical operations.

Provides direct patient care, health education, care coordination, and chronic disease management for clinic patients. Responds to messages, coordinates follow-up after ED/hospital visits, manages medication refills per protocol, performs panel management using disease registries, and supports quality improvement and case management including occasional home visits.

Provide community outreach and education, connect patients to community services, assist with Medi-Cal and Covered California enrollment, facilitate health promotion classes and programs, represent SBNC at events, maintain program statistics, and support patient access to care.
