The MDS Nurse leads the Resident Assessment Instrument process, completing resident assessments and maintaining individualized care plans. The role coordinates with residents, families, providers, and interdisciplinary staff to support quality outcomes. As an RN, the position may provide direct resident care, coordinate nursing interventions, educate residents, delegate tasks, serve as charge nurse, and ensure compliance with nursing standards and regulations.

Manages daily operations for a Level IV NICU nursing unit, including staffing, scheduling, patient care support, quality improvement, budgeting, hiring, performance management, regulatory compliance, and staff development. The role mentors employees, maintains clinical competencies and certifications, supports organizational initiatives, and collaborates with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.

Manages daily radiology department operations and clinical oversight, supervising technologists and support staff. Oversees image quality, radiation protection, patient flow, equipment maintenance, staffing, performance evaluations, hiring, budgets, policies, safety, compliance, and emergency preparedness. Provides technical guidance, supports radiology systems including PACS and electronic medical records, coordinates professional development, and contributes to capital planning and cross-market standardization.
