Develop and validate novel PVD coatings, thin films, and surface treatments for cutting tools. The role involves materials research, product development, advanced characterization, stakeholder collaboration, and protecting innovations through patents. Candidates need a master's degree in engineering, chemistry, materials science, metallurgy, or applied physics, plus excellent English communication skills. Experience with thin-film processing, advanced characterization, research environments, or DFT modeling is advantageous.
