Own mechanical design for wearable consumer electronics from architecture and prototyping through EVT, DVT, PVT, and mass production. Design miniaturized plastic, metal, and elastomer components; produce CAD and GD&T drawings; lead tolerance analysis, DFM/DFA, validation, reliability testing, and root-cause analysis. Collaborate with electrical, firmware, industrial design, quality, operations, suppliers, and contract manufacturers, including international factory support.

Build and operate integrations connecting Stream with third-party applications, services, and AI tools. Design agent tools, context passing, confirmations, and result handling; manage OAuth, tokens, webhooks, rate limits, retries, and failures. Develop MCP servers and clients, support applications without clean APIs, instrument integrations, and contribute to Stream’s real-time Python backend and on-call rotation.

Own and implement Sandbar’s backend security, including encryption, key management, confidential computing, identity, secrets, supply-chain security, incident response, compliance, and data-handling controls. Build features in Python real-time services, conduct threat modeling and design reviews, and guide secure engineering practices. The role requires deep cloud security, applied cryptography, production incident response, and backend ownership, with confidential computing and mobile or device security experience preferred.
