Lead Sand’s government business growth across Africa by building relationships with governments, funders, development partners, and private-sector organizations. Originate and progress opportunities, navigate tenders and donor procurement, shape technology-enabled propositions with product and technical teams, build consortia, and expand successful programs across countries and sectors. The role spans healthcare, telecommunications, energy, water, infrastructure, and digital government, requiring executive presence, commercial judgment, diplomacy, and fluency in AI, data, and digital systems.

Own and operate production Kubernetes platforms across AWS EKS and self-managed bare-metal environments. Design cluster infrastructure, networking, security, storage, GitOps workflows, Helm-based golden paths, CI/CD pipelines, and observability systems. Establish SLOs, error budgets, incident response, post-mortems, capacity planning, and autoscaling practices. Troubleshoot complex infrastructure and networking issues, research solutions, and support distributed teams deploying mission-critical healthcare and infrastructure systems.
