Serve as the in-venue voice for University High School home athletic events, primarily basketball and volleyball. Deliver clear, accurate, and enthusiastic announcements; introduce teams and special guests; prepare game scripts; assist with music and event flow; coordinate with athletics staff; ensure accurate names/pronunciations and uphold professionalism and sportsmanship at school events.

Lead and build a school-wide sports performance and wellness program, oversee daily operations of the Sports Performance & Recovery Center, design age-appropriate LTAD-based strength, speed, mobility, recovery and injury-prevention programs, collaborate with coaches, athletic trainers, and PE staff, track performance data, and manage facility logistics and community wellness offerings.

Seasonal, part-time assistant coach role supporting the Girls Flag Football program from summer assessments through the fall season. Responsibilities include planning and leading practices, teaching skills and strategies, fostering team culture, supervising students, providing game-day sideline support, ensuring safety and compliance with athletics rules, communicating with families and staff, and handling administrative tasks like attendance and equipment tracking.

Lead alumni engagement and giving strategy by planning events, managing volunteer alumni, cultivating major gift relationships, overseeing alumni communications, and meeting annual giving goals. Manage alumni portfolio, produce alumni content, represent UHS with peer development professionals, and work evenings, weekends, and some travel.

Support home athletic events by setting up/breaking down facilities, operating scoreboards, clocks, shot clocks, sound and Daktronics video board systems, assisting with game presentation, scorekeeping, crowd management, guest check-in, and troubleshooting to ensure smooth, safe, and professional game-day operations.

Assist the Head Coach in planning and running practices, provide individualized athlete feedback, support meet-day logistics and supervision, promote team culture and safety, ensure compliance with league rules, and communicate with athletes and families. Seasonal, part-time role during the fall with some weekend events.
