Supervises and conducts complex welfare fraud, civil, criminal, and administrative investigations. Oversees investigative staff, assigns cases, manages evidence, prepares reports and court materials, coordinates with criminal justice agencies, and provides testimony. As a sworn peace officer, performs arrests, detentions, searches, warrant execution, firearm duties, and use-of-force responsibilities. Develops law enforcement policies, trains staff, and evaluates investigative procedures and security weaknesses.

Leads the architecture, design, integration, security, performance, and ongoing management of the Assessor-Recorder’s Salesforce SMART platform. Serves as a strategic advisor connecting business needs with technical solutions, manages data and governance, troubleshoots mission-critical systems, coordinates vendors, develops continuity procedures, monitors performance, documents processes, and trains staff. The role may provide technical leadership or limited supervision while supporting enterprise technology modernization.

Supports community outreach, events, listening sessions, communications materials, social media content, data entry, outreach tracking, partner coordination, scheduling, and administrative work for economic justice initiatives. The role focuses on StopScams SF and Kindergarten to College programs, engaging residents, schools, community organizations, and local partners. Some evening and weekend work and local travel are required.
