The Budget Director manages the department's budget, supervises staff involved in budgeting and procurement, ensures compliance with laws, handles financial reporting, and leads training on budget processes.

Lead and manage the Engineering Management Bureau delivering planning, design, construction, and activation of major water, wastewater, and power capital projects. Supervise engineers and technical staff across civil, pipeline, structural, mechanical, and electrical disciplines; ensure quality control of internal and consultant work; allocate resources and budgets; oversee procurement, contract administration, project closeout, and stakeholder engagement; represent SFPUC to executives, boards, agencies, and the public.

Lead technical architect who supervises engineers or leads projects to design, implement, maintain and troubleshoot wired and wireless network environments. Oversees routers, switches, firewalls, VLANs, 802.1x secure wireless, upgrades, integration testing, documentation, and complex ticket/resolution workflows. May require department-specific clearances for airport, port, or sheriff roles.
