San Francisco Friends School

San Francisco Friends School is a nonprofit, independent K–8 day school in San Francisco’s Mission District. Founded in 2002, it provides progressive Quaker education combining academic learning with character development. Its community emphasizes reflection, integrity, peaceful problem-solving, stewardship, curiosity, cooperation, listening to diverse voices, and service, preparing students for a joyful, meaningful educational journey and engagement with the world through kindness and conviction.
