Supervise and direct public safety staff at San Diego Theatres to ensure guest, employee, and property safety during events and non-event days. Conduct patrols, incident reporting, scheduling and staffing, coordinate with managers and contract security/EMT, enforce policies, and complete required safety trainings.

Oversee back-of-house operations for contracted events at Civic and Balboa Theatres. Act as primary contact for clients and artists, manage IATSE stagehands, ensure safety and equipment maintenance, handle event settlements and inventories, assist hiring and training, maintain policies/procedures and technical specifications, and coordinate with contractors and internal teams to deliver safe professional events.

Greet and assist guests, control access, patrol interior and exterior of facilities, monitor safety and traffic, write incident/accident reports, perform basic first aid/CPR, conduct fire prevention checks, and maintain professional presence during events and shifts.

Performs daily and monthly accounting tasks including journal entries, reconciliations, AP, AR, payroll support, bank reconciliations, vendor/customer file maintenance, and audit support. Prepares payroll and payroll reporting, processes invoices and payments, tracks purchase orders, and ensures compliance with federal, state, and local requirements.

Provide front-of-house customer service by scanning tickets, assisting guests to seats, operating point-of-sale for binocular rentals, managing coat check and assisted listening devices, enforcing venue guidelines, and supporting House Management and Public Safety as needed.

Provide in-person ticketing services at Civic and Balboa Theatres: sell and exchange tickets using Ticketmaster Archtics, process payments, balance cash/credit receipts, assist patrons, and work required evening, weekend, holiday shifts.

Oversee engineering department maintenance and staff for San Diego Theatres, managing HVAC/MEP, plumbing, electrical, BMS/CMMS, safety, inspections, budgets, vendor coordination, projects, staffing, and compliance with codes and collective bargaining agreements.
