Investigates moderately complex claims and incidents, evaluates liability and risk, negotiates settlements, identifies suspicious claims and subrogation opportunities, and recommends risk mitigation. Serves as an after-hours claims contact, coordinates emergency responses, supports public safety matters, and ensures timely CPUC incident reporting. The role requires independent judgment, field investigations, regulatory awareness, frequent driving, and occasional guidance to less experienced professionals.

Leads accounting policy research, evaluates emerging GAAP and statutory standards, advises on complex transactions, and implements accounting guidance across business processes and systems. Oversees SOX compliance, including risk and control documentation, scoping, remediation, and reporting. Partners with Finance, IT, audit, and business teams on financial reporting, internal controls, system implementations, and disclosure activities while mentoring accounting professionals.
