Translate business objectives into actionable data analysis, analyze large datasets, apply statistical and machine learning methods, and clearly communicate findings to technical and non-technical audiences. The role requires Hadoop ecosystem expertise, Python scripting, strong statistical knowledge, sampling and analytical skills, and business domain experience in retail, enterprise mobility, or healthcare.

Deploys, manages, and supports Linux and IBM Unix servers. Responsibilities include capacity and performance management, hardware and software troubleshooting, operating system installation and patching, backups and recovery, virtualization, storage, clustering, web server administration, automation scripting, change control, technical specifications, and on-call maintenance support.

Develop and deploy high-performance, highly available Java server-side applications and evolve existing systems into large-scale service architectures. Apply object-oriented design, architectural patterns, distributed computing frameworks, serialization technologies, REST, SQL, unit testing, mocking, and build tools. Work with Hadoop ecosystem technologies and learn emerging big data analytics platforms.
