Coordinates government-funded R&D programs and strategic projects, managing grant administration, reporting schedules, documentation, compliance, stakeholder communications, meetings, financial support, contracts, and audit readiness. The role works across technical teams, management, headquarters, research partners, customers, funding agencies, Finance, Legal, and Procurement. It also supports bilingual Japanese-English documentation, project governance, process improvement, and lifecycle execution from setup through closeout.

Lead complex AI/ML infrastructure evaluation projects for a strategic partner. Own planning, timelines, deliverables, technical benchmarks, customer communication, and cross-functional coordination across engineering, product, and go-to-market teams. Translate customer requirements into engineering actions, guide technical scope and success criteria, explain platform capabilities, and use project outcomes to influence product strategy and future sales. The role requires strong AI/ML systems expertise, customer-facing communication, and the ability to lead distributed teams without direct authority.

Develop and optimize compiler infrastructure for SambaNova’s RDU AI accelerator. Responsibilities include implementing IR passes, lowering and partitioning machine learning models, tensor tiling, on-chip memory management, fabric mapping, and low-level debugging in C++ and Python. The role collaborates with runtime and hardware teams and includes mentorship while building production compiler software.
