Fabricates wooden crates and skids, lays out dimensions from part drawings, and drills, cuts, grinds, and modifies materials. Operates production equipment safely, places products in containers, uses hoists and forklifts, and prepares completed work for the next production stage. The role requires meeting shipping deadlines, reading tape measures and prints, lifting materials, working at heights and outdoors, and standing for extended shifts.

Sets up and assembles systems involving pneumatics, hydraulics, loading arms, tracking systems, and related components. Works with engineering, production, clients, and shop personnel to resolve design and fabrication issues, meet shipping deadlines, maintain quality standards, organize job documentation, and train employees. Requires physical work indoors and outdoors, including lifting up to 50 pounds, working at heights, extended standing, overtime, and occasional air travel.

Fabricates wooden crates and skids for shipping final products. Measures and lays out materials, assembles containers with nails, staples, screws, bolts, glue, and hand tools, secures products, applies padding and metal bands, labels crates, and moves materials or finished containers. Requires reading tape measures to 1/16-inch increments, following instructions, safe independent or team work, and tolerating demanding indoor and outdoor conditions, including heights, heat, cold, long shifts, and overtime.
