Lead Utah political and government coverage, managing reporters and guiding watchdog, enterprise, breaking-news, and reader-driven journalism. Set coverage priorities, edit stories, coach staff, coordinate with audience, data, visuals, and newsroom teams, and develop innovative formats including video, maps, graphics, and interactives. The role emphasizes public-service journalism, accountability, community engagement, audience-informed planning, and sustainable editorial operations.

Drive revenue by prospecting, pitching, and closing advertising partnerships; maintain and grow client relationships; oversee campaign execution; collaborate with internal teams to deliver campaigns on deadline; prepare sales materials and presentations and meet monthly and quarterly revenue goals.
