Temporary Parks and Recreation positions supporting youth and adult sports programs. Duties may include supervising sports sites and buses, maintaining game scores, and assisting customers at the front desk. Applicants must meet temporary employee hour limits, pass fingerprinting and a background check, and enroll in the County’s continuous RAP Back program. Ski and snowboard bus supervisor positions require applicants to be at least 21 years old.

Represents Salt Lake County and the State in criminal prosecutions by screening cases, preparing warrants and legal documents, negotiating pleas, conducting trials and hearings, researching law, preparing witnesses, handling appeals, and providing legal training. Responsibilities vary by grade from entry-level attorney work under supervision to senior-level case responsibility and attorney mentoring.

Temporary, part-time positions are available at the SLC Sports Complex in youth sports, aquatics, custodial and maintenance services, customer service, and ice center operations. Duties may include officiating sports, lifeguarding, teaching swimming, coaching, cleaning, assisting visitors, operating Zambonis, monitoring ice areas, and managing skate cages. Employees must work no more than 29 hours weekly or 129 hours monthly, pass fingerprint-based background screening, and enroll in the continuous RAP Back program.
