Own the full accounting function for a growing aerospace and defense manufacturer. Responsibilities include month-end close, GAAP financial reporting, cost accounting, inventory valuation, FAR/DFARS and DCAA compliance, AP/AR, cash management, budgeting support, internal controls, audits, tax coordination, and accounting systems improvement. The role requires building scalable financial processes and communicating financial information to engineering and operations stakeholders.

Plans and executes mechanical qualification, acceptance, environmental, vibration, shock, thermal, humidity, altitude, life, and durability tests for aerospace and defense hardware. Designs test fixtures, instrumentation, load setups, and data acquisition configurations; prepares DO-160G and MIL-STD-810H test plans and reports; analyzes failures and test data; coordinates outsourced laboratories and customer testing; and supports development of an in-house qualification lab.

Lead full-lifecycle development of mission-critical mechanical and electromechanical hardware, from requirements architecture and precision mechanism design through prototype assembly, testing, and flight qualification. Design ruggedized avionics enclosures and actuator systems, perform strength and lifecycle analysis, qualify hardware to DO-160 and MIL-STD-810, guide cross-functional integration, support suppliers and quality efforts, and author technical documentation. The role requires hands-on design-build-test execution across aerospace, defense, robotic, and industrial systems.
