Coordinates new employee orientation, including content delivery, department coordination, room reservations, catering, and biometric scan support. Schedules annual staff training, maintains the hospital’s American Heart Association Training Center status, and manages student affiliation agreements and graduate student placements.

Administers employee health, retirement, leave, disability, and insurance programs. Coordinates open enrollment, plan maintenance, deductions, onboarding orientations, claims and billing support, regulatory reporting, audits, retirement processing, and offboarding. Ensures compliance with ERISA, COBRA, FMLA, New York Paid Family Leave, employment laws, labor regulations, and hospital policies while serving as a liaison among employees, retirees, insurers, and internal stakeholders.

Coordinates new-hire onboarding from offer acceptance through the first weeks of employment. Responsibilities include supporting incoming employees, managing background checks and employment verifications, collecting employment paperwork, maintaining HRIS and applicant-tracking records, ensuring compliance, and coordinating with facilities and payroll for badges, clearances, and wage setup.
