Advises students in the grant-funded KCP Morris Hood Educator Development program on academics, course selection, university policies, and graduation progress. Coordinates retention initiatives, recruitment, orientation, student interventions, support referrals, records, reports, and grant administration. Monitors course changes, communicates with campus services, assists with grant fund management, and shares supervision of student employees. The role is part-time, campus-based in Michigan, and funded through September 2029.

Supports planning and execution of university athletic contests and special events. Duties include guest assistance, venue policy enforcement, event setup and teardown, equipment operation, incident reporting, ticketing, transportation, timing, announcing, scoreboard and game-clock operations, and coordination with campus departments. Requires evening, weekend, occasional holiday, indoor, outdoor, and variable-weather work in Michigan.

Provide administration, security, maintenance, and end-user support for university enterprise applications (Workday, Hyland). Configure Workday security and Dynamic Forms, support document management and workflows, assist with updates and testing, maintain data integrity, produce documentation, and participate in audits and operational processes.

Support the Controller's Office by managing accounting systems, reviewing and approving journal entries, preparing reconciliations and financial reports, coordinating audits, maintaining fixed asset records, assisting cash management, developing reporting and compliance policies, and providing leadership and oversight within the department.

Advise and train student newspaper staff on journalistic practices, assist with production and editorial decisions, review and edit stories, help recruit and supervise student employees, and support budget and operations to align with the paper's mission.

Lead planning, development, marketing, delivery, and evaluation of university continuing education and lifelong learning programs. Manage budgets, staff, partnerships, strategic planning, and enrollment/financial goals. Coordinate OLLI and CPM programs, build corporate and regional relationships, oversee catalogs and travel courses, market offerings broadly, and represent SVSU at national conferences. Provide entrepreneurial vision and collaborate with campus units and regional partners.

Provide executive administrative and operational support to the VP of Governmental and Community Affairs: manage calendar, travel, correspondence, meetings, financial and records systems for the Community Development Fund, direct student employees, process Workday transactions, assist with budget tracking, coordinate governmental/legislative meetings, and support events and special projects on campus and in the region.

Manage and supervise all university payroll operations, ensuring accurate, timely payroll processing and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Oversee biweekly payroll, reconciliations, tax filings, W-2 preparation, nonresident alien payroll support, reporting, audits, system upgrades, and staff training while collaborating with HR, IT, and Finance.

Coordinate alumni communications, manage the alumni website and CRM, execute newsletters/email/social media content, manage segmented communication tracks, support commencement and alumni events, and maintain constituent data initiatives to engage alumni and advance the office mission.

Provide individualized career advising and readiness programs, administer career technology platforms and assessments, manage data collection and reporting, support employer engagement and recruitment events, and collaborate with campus partners to increase internship and employment opportunities.

Coordinate and administer university study abroad programs including advising students and faculty, managing applications (Terra Dotta), budgets, scholarships, risk management, marketing, partner relations, program assessment, and travel support.

Provide academic advising to new and continuing students (especially first- and second-year), guide curriculum and course selection, track academic progress, maintain advising records, support orientation and COOP Chat Bot, refer students to support services, and perform other assigned duties for a one-year temporary appointment.
