Requires frequent market prospecting, strong organization, business judgment, and collaboration across hotel departments.

Manages hotel accounting functions, primarily accounts receivable, billing, payment posting, aging follow-up, reconciliations, income audits, payroll processing, tip reporting, and daily financial reports. Reviews and resolves discrepancies, supports month-end and daily close activities, maintains internal controls, and collaborates with hotel departments, sales managers, guests, and business partners. The role also assists with accounting training and ensures compliance with company procedures and deadlines.

Leads hotel finance operations, including budgeting, forecasting, payroll oversight, financial reporting, accounting controls, expense management, regulatory compliance, and risk mitigation. Reviews financial performance, guides department heads on costs and revenues, develops financial goals, and supports sales strategy. Manages accounting staff, staff development, performance evaluations, and internal controls protecting hotel assets.
