Serve as a trusted advisor delivering risk control services: analyze loss data, develop risk management strategies, manage client relationships, collaborate with underwriting and internal teams, lead value-added engagements, and present industry thought leadership to drive retention and profitable growth.

Supports underwriting portfolio management by sourcing, validating, and analyzing internal and external data. Evaluates portfolio performance, competition, market trends, and strategic opportunities; develops predictive analyses, dashboards, visualizations, reports, and presentations. Leads end-to-end analytical projects and explores automation, AI, and emerging technologies. Collaborates with underwriting, actuarial, claims, finance, and analytics teams to translate complex findings into actionable business recommendations.

Manage high-exposure workers’ compensation claims from assignment through closure. Evaluate coverage and exposure, set reserves, negotiate settlements, and guide medical and litigation strategies. Direct and advise third-party administrators, monitor defense counsel, identify reinsurance involvement, and communicate large losses and problem claims. Maintain claim documentation, process reimbursements and vendor requests, provide reinsurance updates, and travel for audits and complex claims. The role requires strong workers’ compensation expertise, analytical judgment, organization, communication, and independent decision-making.
