Teams at Sacramento Kings

Leads social media strategy and execution across the Sacramento Kings, Golden 1 Center, and Stockton Kings. Oversees platform-specific storytelling, live-event coverage, paid social, creator partnerships, community engagement, analytics, and cultural trend adoption. Manages and develops a five-person team while collaborating with internal and external partners, supporting brand campaigns, reputation management, and digital fan experiences.

Supports counsel with reviewing, drafting, summarizing, and researching contracts, legal issues, regulations, litigation matters, and industry developments. Assists with contract management systems, document production, policy research, and daily contract workflows. Requires confidentiality, strong organization, communication, legal research, and judgment skills. The intern must be enrolled in law school or recently graduated, commute to downtown Sacramento, and work up to 25 hours weekly, including flexible evenings and weekends.

Develops and executes corporate communications plans, drafts internal and external materials, pitches media, manages media relationships, supports executive communications, and coordinates announcements and events. The role also leads internal newsletter efforts, tracks media coverage and communications opportunities, monitors industry news, and provides administrative and operational support. Requires strong writing, organization, judgment, confidentiality, and flexibility for evenings, weekends, holidays, and game nights.
