Teams at Sacramento Children's Home

Provides music lessons and therapeutic music activities for children in residential care. Plans individualized instruction, musical groups, talent shows, games, and community outings while supporting trauma-informed care, resident safety, behavior management, documentation, and treatment plans. Maintains music equipment, participates in team meetings and training, transports children as directed, and builds nurturing relationships with residents.

Manage mid-level donor portfolio and monthly giving program; conduct donor outreach, stewardship, and community engagement; assist with grant research, proposal writing, and event sponsorships; collaborate with Philanthropy and Marketing to meet fundraising goals and attend events, tours, and evening/weekend activities.

Provide vocational and independent living skills training to youth, including assessments (Casey Life Skills), curriculum development, individual and group instruction, job readiness and monitoring, transportation to appointments, and residential counselor duties. Build community and employer partnerships, document services and progress notes, participate in treatment team meetings, and support youth in education, employment, and independent living goals.
