Designs, tests, and improves manufacturing processes, equipment, layouts, and tooling. Troubleshoots and repairs industrial equipment, supports robotic and resistance welding, analyzes workflow and production data, conducts time studies, ensures process quality, and identifies cost and efficiency improvements. The role is approximately 70% hands-on production equipment improvement, 25% cost improvement research, and 5% administrative project and purchasing work.

Hands-on manufacturing process engineer who designs, tests, and improves production methods and equipment. Duties include workflow and layout analysis, programming/adjusting robotic welders, troubleshooting industrial machinery, conducting time studies, cost estimating, and implementing mechanical improvements to increase stability and repeatability.

Design fixtures, tooling, and laser blanks; create 2D/3D models, assemblies, BOMs, and shop drawings; evaluate and improve manufacturing methods; perform engineering calculations and ensure designs meet standards; support prototyping and work directly with manufacturing teams.
