Improve production process safety, efficiency, and reliability; support trials, equipment upgrades, and new installations; commission lines; troubleshoot production and maintenance issues; implement work instructions and lead process improvement projects.

Perform timely QA measurements and tests on incoming, in-process, and finished polymer products; maintain lab equipment and supplies; record results and Certificates of Analysis; assist with test method development, equipment setup, documentation updates, and safety walk-throughs.

Supervise night-shift production to meet quality, quantity, and safety goals. Plan and maintain schedules, train and lead operators, manage twin-screw extruder, bulk handling and mixing operations, implement corrective actions, enforce policies, and support improvement projects.

Lead process engineering to improve safety, quality, efficiency, and cost across a manufacturing plant. Oversee continuous improvement, capital projects, and engineer development; drive Lean Six Sigma initiatives, mentor engineers, establish performance metrics and dashboards, and partner with operations to solve process and equipment issues.

Improve production safety, efficiency, and reliability by planning and executing process improvements, equipment upgrades, trials, and new line commissioning. Provide technical support, troubleshoot root causes, implement work instructions, and collaborate with maintenance, R&D, and vendors to launch and optimize production projects.

Lead installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of facility equipment and systems at the Sheboygan site. Design and install electrical circuits to NEC, coordinate contractors/inspectors, troubleshoot PLCs, industrial PCs, AC/DC drives, hydraulics, pneumatics, and extruder systems. Perform preventive maintenance, prepare purchase orders, provide on-call emergency response, and travel to assist other Polymer Group facilities as needed.
