Designs, builds, and deploys high-scale Java microservices for Sabre’s cloud-native Order Management platform. Responsibilities include writing tested production code, refactoring complex systems, improving performance and resilience, documenting technical solutions, collaborating across Agile teams, and applying AI-assisted development tools. The role requires expertise in Java backend development, Spring Boot, distributed systems, automated testing, SDLC practices, and cloud-native engineering, with preferred experience in GCP, Kubernetes, event-driven systems, APIs, databases, and infrastructure automation.

Provide technical leadership for cloud-native backend microservices, making architectural decisions and guiding teams through the full software lifecycle. Design scalable APIs, event-driven integrations, and distributed data architectures while ensuring testing, observability, resilience, CI/CD, security, and production stability. Evaluate AI-assisted engineering tools and collaborate across teams on infrastructure, service boundaries, and modern development practices.

Own the vision and roadmap for automating airline schedule-change management. Define capabilities for disruption detection, passenger impact assessment, reaccommodation, notifications, ticketing, self-service, and exception handling. Collaborate with airlines, engineering, architecture, UX, operations, and partner teams to deliver scalable enterprise products. Engage customers, prioritize requirements, build business cases, and measure automation, servicing-cost reduction, resolution time, adoption, and traveller satisfaction.
