Teams at S&B Engineers and Constructors

Leads subcontracting activities for complex, high-value EPC and industrial construction projects. Develops subcontracting plans, procedures, bidder lists, and commercial terms; solicits and evaluates quotations; negotiates pricing, delivery terms, claims, and modifications; manages subcontractor relationships and performance; and coordinates with engineering, construction, project controls, quality, safety, clients, and project management. May supervise subcontract administrators and periodically work at project sites.

Performs independent purchasing and procurement for high-value, technically unique, or critical project items. Develops procurement plans and bidder lists, solicits and evaluates quotations, selects suppliers, negotiates pricing and delivery terms, issues purchase orders, and maintains supplier information. Collaborates with engineering, construction management, project teams, clients, and vendors while advising less experienced procurement personnel. Occasional job-site travel may be required.

Manages complex subcontracting activities for EPC projects, including subcontract planning, bidder qualification, proposal and bid evaluation, negotiations, cost and schedule management, contract documentation, compliance auditing, and subcontractor onboarding. Coordinates with engineering, construction, legal, schedulers, suppliers, and clients; resolves commercial and contractual issues; tracks costs, manhours, forecasts, and project records; leads subcontractor meetings and mentors junior personnel. May occasionally work at project sites.
