Teams at Rural Metro Fire

Participate in wildland fire prevention, mitigation, pre-fire assessment and suppression. Maintain station and apparatus, conduct safety checks and pre-fire inspections, train, support public outreach, operate vehicles and tools safely, and deploy to incidents (14–21 days). Must complete required NWCG/FEMA courses and Capstone PTB, pass a work-capacity test and background check.

Provide industrial fire suppression, emergency medical care, inspections, hot work permit issuance/audits, equipment maintenance, and routine facility duties. Respond to emergencies, administer first aid within EMT-B scope, maintain certifications and physical fitness, and follow company safety and drug-testing policies while working 24-on/48-off shifts.
