Teams at Rural Metro Fire

Participate in wildland fire suppression and safety operations supporting utility customers. Conduct fire watches, extinguishment, EMS, safety briefings, drills, and trainings. Work variable long shifts, travel for deployments, operate vehicles and tools safely, and maintain customer relations.

Train for and perform industrial fire suppression, rescue, and emergency medical response. Maintain apparatus and equipment, complete safety permitting tasks, perform first aid/EMT care, follow company procedures, participate in drills, and maintain facility cleanliness and records. Subject to industrial drug and alcohol testing and required to meet physical demands.

Train and perform industrial fire suppression and emergency response under supervision. Administer first aid/EMT care, conduct fire protection checks and hot work permit audits, maintain equipment, operate vehicles, pass physical agility tests, and comply with safety and drug-testing policies while working 24-hour shifts.
