Teams at Runna

Leads product design quality and direction across core user journeys, manages and develops a team of designers, provides hands-on craft leadership, runs design reviews, partners with Product and Engineering, and establishes design standards and culture. The role requires shaping design vision for a scaled consumer app while contributing to the broader design system and leadership team.

Lead and develop a team of 4–8+ engineers responsible for delivering product or platform outcomes. Own planning, execution, release quality, stakeholder alignment, technical standards, hiring, performance management, career development, and team effectiveness. Partner with Product, Design, and modelling teams to build mobile and backend features incorporating AI/ML capabilities. Drive high-quality, scalable systems and organization-wide engineering improvements in a fast-paced product environment.

Lead multi-week strategic projects (market sizing, competitive positioning, investment cases), own OKR and annual planning, partner with Product/Marketing/Finance, build reusable analytical frameworks and dashboards, and translate strategic priorities into executable plans with tracking and accountability for Runna leadership.
