Handles high-volume workers’ compensation calls and written inquiries; coordinates patients, providers, insurers, nurse case managers, and adjusters. Creates and updates EMR records, gathers case and authorization details, schedules appointments, triages correspondence, relays provider messages, releases records, and provides status updates. Maintains productivity, quality, schedule adherence, turnaround times, and call-handling standards while escalating issues as needed.

Leads enterprise strategy, growth, strategic planning, business analytics, and emerging revenue programs for a physician practice. Owns P&L performance, develops business cases, evaluates and pilots new products and services, and tracks financial and operational results. Partners cross-functionally with finance, operations, product, contracting, revenue cycle, marketing, and patient access teams. Prepares executive and Board materials, establishes governance and performance routines, and scales successful programs.

Processes insurance pre-certification and authorization requests for upcoming procedures. Reviews benefits, verifies required information, monitors physician schedules, documents authorization details in eCW, submits paperwork, communicates denials, initiates appeals, and manages workers’ compensation and auto authorizations. Reports completed and pending certifications, cancellations, and productivity metrics. Requires medical terminology, medical office operations knowledge, computer skills, and preferably one year of pre-certification experience.
