The role requires extensive grants management experience in higher education, strong GAAP knowledge, and proficiency with financial, proposal submission, and reporting systems.

Creates stories featuring students, faculty, alumni, and research; maintains brand voice; adapts messaging for segmented audiences; conducts interviews; and collaborates with communications, marketing, academic, and administrative teams. The role requires translating complex science, healthcare, and education topics into accessible content while applying SEO, content marketing, and editorial best practices.

Administers employee benefits, leave programs, accommodations, workers’ compensation, enrollments, and compliance reporting. Supports employees with benefits and payroll inquiries, conducts orientations, manages benefits communications and audits, coordinates with insurers and brokers, and assists with annual enrollment, process improvements, and backup payroll duties using ADP Workforce Now.
