Provides financial analysis and business partnering support to Procurement, including month-end reporting, forecasting, budgeting, governance, supplier financial risk analysis, capital funding, and engineering cost recovery. Maintains accountability for P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow, performs reconciliations, supports supplier tooling schemes, and helps recover third-party engineering costs.

Develop analytical software and tools for designing, manufacturing, and operating Royal Navy nuclear power plants. Build simulation software for complex reactor-core physics, translate stakeholder requirements into traceable code, test and maintain software quality, fix defects, and deliver data-driven engineering insights. The role uses Fortran, C++, Python, Git, and Azure DevOps, with opportunities for technical specialization, management, and leadership.

Support the Naval Programme leadership team in delivering integrated annual and five-year plans. Own programme governance, management planning, reporting, risk monitoring, portfolio prioritisation, benefits tracking, flow governance, and quarterly planning. Identify bottlenecks and constraints, recommend interventions, and coordinate across mature programmes and Defence PMO stakeholders. Lead or manage programmes, projects, and improvement activities while supporting customer, financial, operational, and contract performance outcomes.
