Lead the Mechanical Handling design authority: develop and deliver safety-critical mechanical handling solutions across the product lifecycle. Build and govern a multidisciplinary engineering team, own technical direction, programme performance, budgets, safety substantiation, verification & validation, supplier engagement, and support UK/international fleet deployment.

Lead and mature enterprise-wide scope, requirements and change management for large-scale SMR programmes. Establish traceability between requirements, scope, baselines and decisions, govern change control, partner with engineering, commercial, finance and delivery teams, and provide senior leaders with transparent, auditable programme control to support successful delivery.

Lead and improve enterprise PMO reporting capability, establish governance and reporting frameworks, deliver KPI dashboards and management reporting, integrate schedule/cost/risk/change/delivery data, and collaborate with PMO, Engineering, Finance and Commercial teams to enable data-driven senior leadership decisions.
