Provides hands-on nursing care and leads Nurse Aides in a resident-care setting. Responsibilities include administering medications, implementing care plans, performing treatments, transcribing physician orders, documenting assessments, participating in shift reports, educating support staff, maintaining infection-control standards, responding to emergencies, and arranging replacement staff when needed. Requires an RN or LVN license in good standing, strong clinical documentation and assessment skills, effective communication, organization, and attention to detail.
