Perform finishing operations in the paint department including prepping, minor dent repair, color matching/blending, and spraying polyurethane basecoats/pearls using gravity- and pressure-feed spray guns and 2-quart pressure pots. Follow manufacturing mixing instructions, set up fluid delivery and paint temperature, and comply with DOT drug/alcohol program.

Perform paint department prep and polishing tasks: sand primer, detect and repair minor dents, mask, mix fillers, and polish out orange peel and minor imperfections. Follow DOT drug/alcohol program and maintain regular attendance. Entry-level role requiring roughly one year of body shop/detailing experience or training in automotive refinishing.

Lead a combined Manufacturing, Industrial, and Continuous Improvement function to define, document, and control production processes for aircraft and subassemblies. Develop operation sheets, work instructions, routings, and standards; drive lean improvements, value stream mapping, time studies, and capacity analysis. Partner cross-functionally to remove constraints, improve throughput, quality, and labor efficiency, and mentor engineering and continuous improvement staff.
