Manage core general ledger activities, month-end and year-end close, complex journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation. Oversee restricted fund and grant accounting, audit preparation, payroll-related accounting, and cross-departmental financial coordination. Provide guidance to accounting staff, ensure GAAP and nonprofit compliance, strengthen internal controls, and support ad hoc financial analysis in a mission-driven nonprofit environment.

Serve as the agency's front‑desk welcoming point of contact, manage multi-line phones, maintain reception security, process mail and supplies, provide administrative support to executives, coordinate employee events and newsletters, and ensure trauma-informed, safe, and organized reception operations. Attend mandatory trainings and participate in emergency drills while supporting daily office logistics and customer service.
