College intern supporting civil site development projects involving roadway, bicycle and pedestrian facilities, drainage, stormwater, utilities, traffic control, cost estimating, and field work. The role provides hands-on training with AutoCAD and other modeling software while collaborating with transportation engineering teams. Candidates must be pursuing Civil Engineering, communicate effectively, work independently and collaboratively, and hold a valid driver's license.

Supports traffic engineering projects through design, analysis, safety evaluation, traffic data collection, field investigations, and recommendations. Assists with plans for signals, signs, pavement markings, work zones, lighting, bicycle and pedestrian facilities, toll systems, traffic calming, and intelligent transportation systems. Works collaboratively with traffic engineers while gaining practical transportation engineering experience in office and field settings.

Leads drainage studies, stormwater management strategies, hydraulic modeling, and design for municipal and transportation projects. Responsibilities include reviewing drainage systems, preparing construction plans and technical reports, leading multidisciplinary teams, conducting field investigations, managing project schedules and budgets, mentoring staff, and supporting proposals. Requires a Florida Professional Engineer license, civil engineering degree, and at least ten years of transportation engineering experience.
