The Senior Backend Engineer will design and implement backend services for RIVR's robotic delivery platform, focusing on microservices, API design, and cloud infrastructure, while collaborating with cross-functional teams for robust operations.

Design, assemble, and test custom electronics and PCBAs for robotics; develop firmware; integrate hardware with software; perform reliability and safety testing; create documentation and design standards; support transition from prototypes to mass production.

Lead design, development, and testing of custom robot electronics (PCBAs, power electronics, firmware, communications). Build and evaluate prototypes, integrate hardware with software teams, verify reliability and safety, produce manufacturing documentation, improve design standards, and hire/mentor an electronics engineering team while advising product leadership.
