Supports infotainment platform enablement through embedded software development, ECU hardware bring-up, manufacturing validation, workload emulation, diagnostics telemetry analysis, and hardware-software integration debugging. The intern will develop C/C++ and Python utilities, validate automotive compute platforms, analyze system behavior and performance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. The role runs from January 11 through August 13, 2027 and requires on-site work in Champaign, Illinois.

Build, deploy, and own software applications, engineering-tool integrations, automations, data pipelines, and reporting systems. Manage AWS, Databricks, and GitLab CI/CD resources while ensuring reliability, security, and maintainability. Serve as product owner by gathering requirements, prioritizing roadmaps, communicating trade-offs, and supporting production tools. Collaborate with global engineering teams, process owners, and leadership.

Leads ECU sustaining engineering and technical program management across zonal, battery, infotainment, connectivity, and vehicle access systems. Builds the sustaining organization, establishes plant and field triage processes, manages RMAs, failure analysis, engineering changes, supplier escalations, component obsolescence, supply continuity, and cost-down initiatives. Oversees outsourced engineering partners and contract manufacturers, including statements of work, capacity, quality, spend, and deliverables. Partners across engineering, quality, manufacturing, supply chain, and vehicle programs while driving KPIs and continuous improvement.
