Lead the Science Team to plan, permit, implement, and monitor large-scale river and floodplain habitat restoration across California. Build scientific partnerships, oversee biology staff and training, guide project proposals and implementation, support fundraising communications, and ensure rigorous monitoring and permitting to advance conservation outcomes.

Lead and manage large-scale riparian habitat restoration projects including planning, permitting, GIS management, soil and vegetation evaluation, monitoring, budgeting, team supervision, partner coordination, public outreach, and technical reporting.

Conduct field and office-based restoration biology tasks including native plant identification, data collection and analysis, permitting and site-specific restoration planning, public outreach and presentations, interagency coordination, and travel to multiple project sites for implementation and monitoring.
