Sell carpet and hard-surface flooring products and services to apartment complexes and property management clients. Build and maintain customer relationships, understand customer needs, recommend appropriate products, develop product expertise, and meet or exceed sales goals. The role requires independent problem-solving, prioritization, multitasking, and effective oral and written communication.

Processes new home selection orders and material orders for flooring installations. Maintains customer and job files, verifies billing, processes change orders, and orders job finishes. Coordinates builder installation schedules, service work orders, and homeowner or builder service appointments while ensuring account requirements and schedules are met.

Consults with customers on flooring needs, recommends appropriate products and services, promotes and sells flooring solutions, takes measurements, processes payments, and follows up to ensure installation satisfaction. Maintains product knowledge, builds customer relationships, communicates effectively, manages multiple priorities, and uses computers, tablets, and smartphones.
