Manage and provide daily recreational and leisure activities for youth in a residential treatment and detention facility. Activities should be physically challenging, educational, constructive, and supportive of clients’ mental health and development. The role requires coordinating varied schedules, working evenings and weekends as needed, and maintaining a safe, respectful environment for troubled teens.

Supervises staff and youth in a residential facility, ensuring safety, care, staffing ratios, schedules, and participation in activities. Responds to emergencies, leads crisis intervention groups, and communicates concerns to management. The role supports at-risk adolescent males with behavioral, mental health, and substance abuse needs in a structured therapeutic environment.

Monitors and maintains contact with youth in supervised release programs, including face-to-face visits and responses to electronic monitoring notifications. Communicates with probation, social services, courts, schools, and other stakeholders; participates in meetings and hearings; maintains confidential records and program communications. The role may involve extended driving in varying conditions and requires flexibility to work over 40 hours when needed.
