Teams at RioCan Real Estate Investment Trust

Performs internal audit engagements, evaluates internal controls, conducts compliance and risk assessments, documents findings, prepares audit reports, and recommends improvements. Supports enterprise risk management initiatives, collaborates with auditors and business units, monitors regulatory developments, and handles special assignments. Requires a degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related field; CPA, CIA, or equivalent designation required or in progress; and at least two years of internal audit experience.

Supports Project Managers by coordinating project scope, schedules, budgets, resources, documentation, meetings, risks, issues, action items, reporting, and governance. Maintains project plans and artifacts, tracks progress and variances, coordinates stakeholders and vendors, supports resource planning, and assists with project closure, lessons learned, and final documentation.

Supports forecasting, budgeting, and long-term planning through financial modeling, dataset analysis, variance analysis, reporting, and recommendations for senior management. Partners with cross-functional teams to validate assumptions, supports accounting close activities, and identifies process improvements. The role requires advanced Excel skills, strong communication, analytical judgment, and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
