Supports assigned nonprofit departments with administrative tasks, research, data entry, scheduling, documentation, special projects, and community or client-service activities. The intern collaborates with staff and stakeholders, maintains confidentiality and accurate records, follows organizational procedures, and develops professional, communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills through mentorship and hands-on learning.

Provide peer-based recovery support, outreach, care coordination, resource linkage, and community engagement for individuals with behavioral health and co-occurring disorders. Use lived experience to promote resilience, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, complete documentation, and participate in supervision and required trainings.

Provide community-based peer support, engage clients at hospital discharges and in community settings, assist with de-escalation and recovery skills, coordinate care and referrals, document services within 48 hours, participate in supervision and training, and support compliance with privacy and funder requirements.
