Designs and develops land development projects, including grading plans, subdivision maps, roads, drainage systems, and earthwork calculations. The role requires knowledge of California jurisdictional codes and standards, proficiency with AutoCAD and Civil 3D, and collaboration with multidisciplinary engineering teams. Candidates need four years of land development experience and a BSCE or equivalent experience. EIT certification and obtaining a California PE license are preferred.

Designs grading and public improvement plans from concept through final documents for residential, mixed-use, and corporate campus developments. Prepares technical studies and site plans to support land development entitlements. Applies jurisdictional codes, standards, and procedures while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. Requires a civil engineering degree or equivalent experience and proficiency with engineering drafting tools such as AutoCAD or MicroStation.

Leads civil engineering projects from conceptual design through regulatory and public improvement plans, construction support, and constructability reviews. Manages contracts, schedules, budgets, proposals, staff, and client or public-agency relationships. Performs engineering design while providing leadership, supervision, decision-making, and coordination across multidisciplinary teams. Requires California Professional Engineer registration, civil engineering expertise, CAD experience, and substantial project management and staff supervision experience.
