Teams at Richland County Government

Handles legal documents, forms, letters, files, correspondence, and related records. Applies established officer procedures and judgment daily while maintaining a high degree of confidentiality. The role requires U.S. citizenship and successful completion of a strenuous background investigation.

Provides administrative, clerical, research, customer service, and project-based support for Richland County’s Grants and Community Outreach Department. Assists with HUD grant management, CDBG funding processes, small business grant development, database review, records requests, reporting, and coordination with county departments, nonprofits, businesses, and the public. Works under direct supervision in an on-site government office.

Leads Richland County’s information security program, including development and enforcement of security standards, policies, procedures, and guidelines across diverse technology environments. Oversees data protection and infrastructure security, collaborates with business systems and GIS teams, advises department leaders, and coordinates with risk, legal, HR, finance, auditors, consultants, and vendors. GIAC certification must be attained within the first year.
