Teams at Rhythm Pharmaceuticals

Provides strategic scientific leadership for ADME/DMPK and nonclinical development across small-molecule and peptide programs. Oversees pharmacokinetic, metabolism, disposition, drug-drug interaction, translational PK/PD, PBPK, and exposure-based assessments from discovery through registration. Leads first-in-human dose selection, regulatory submissions, CRO oversight, cross-functional workstreams, and health authority interactions. Communicates scientific strategy and development risks to program teams and senior leadership while influencing portfolio decisions.

Supports international employees and leaders across Italy, Spain, marketing, market access, and medical teams. Advises on organizational effectiveness, workforce planning, talent management, employee relations, performance, recruitment, development, compliance, benefits, and change management. Partners with leadership, payroll, legal counsel, vendors, and HR teams to implement regional people strategies, policies, and programs while ensuring legal and ethical compliance across multiple countries.

Supports pharmaceutical QA and regulatory compliance for clinical and commercial products. Responsibilities include batch release documentation, GMP/GDP record review, quality event tracking, document workflows, supplier qualification records, quality metrics, audit readiness, and inspection preparation. The role collaborates with Qualified Persons, Technical Operations, Supply Chain, Regulatory Affairs, and external partners while identifying documentation gaps and maintaining compliant quality systems.
