Supervise a government-operated calibration laboratory supporting TMDE operations on Kwajalein Atoll. Responsibilities include managing calibration, verification, repair, shipping, scheduling, budgets, purchasing, vendor and customer coordination, employee training, compliance, reporting, and process improvement. The role ensures NIST traceability and adherence to USATA and Army regulations, manages Maximo and TIMMS data, prepares required documentation, and provides occasional mission support and equipment transportation.

Maintain, troubleshoot, repair, test, and improve high-power UHF and VHF radar transmitters. Perform component-level failure analysis, high-voltage RF measurements, design modifications, calibration, and acceptance testing. Manage transmitter spares and documentation, support safety programs, coordinate technicians and engineering disciplines, communicate with vendors, and provide technical reports to management. Respond to antenna and transmitter failures around the clock and support mission and weapons test range requirements.

Maintains and troubleshoots radar mechanical systems; implements modernization and operational projects; manages preventive maintenance, schedules, spare parts, and equipment inventory. Performs hardware design, structural analysis, mechanical integration, and technical support across engineering teams. Directs technicians and craftsmen, assists with antenna maintenance and upgrades, and works at heights while performing physical labor. Requires Secret clearance eligibility, U.S. citizenship, relocation to Kwajalein Atoll, and occasional weekend or non-duty-hours support.
