Teams at RFA Engineering

Designs and develops power electronics and microprocessor-based embedded hardware for vehicle and equipment applications. Responsibilities include circuit design, simulation, worst-case analysis, integration, verification, validation, documentation, and production support. The engineer collaborates with manufacturing, quality, and supply management teams while providing onsite technical support. Preferred experience includes inverters, DC/DC converters, battery management electronics, rugged environments, hybrid or electric vehicles, circuit simulation, and FPGA-based designs.

Performs structural, durability, fatigue, static, dynamic, and modal FEA for mobile and off-highway equipment. Develops analysis plans, evaluates performance and fatigue life, correlates models with physical test data, prepares technical reports, and recommends design improvements. Collaborates with design and test engineers to validate products, solve engineering problems, improve analysis accuracy, and deliver multiple projects on schedule.

Supports assembly and manufacturing operations in a high-volume facility by troubleshooting equipment, tooling, and process issues; improving standard work, workflows, line balancing, capacity, safety, quality, and productivity; supporting root-cause investigations, corrective actions, continuous improvement, and new product introductions; and maintaining engineering documentation and validation records.
