Leads biophysical strategy for target validation, hit confirmation, and drug discovery. Designs and interprets quantitative experiments assessing protein quality, binding mechanisms, kinetics, thermodynamics, stability, oligomerization, and higher-order complexes. Develops orthogonal assays and workflows, evaluates emerging technologies, and integrates findings with structural biology, medicinal chemistry, and functional biology. Provides scientific leadership, mentorship, and data-driven guidance for project decisions, particularly involving weak, transient, cooperative, and molecular-glue interactions.

Provide GMP Quality oversight for small-molecule drug substance and drug product intermediate development, technology transfer, CDMO manufacturing, testing, and batch disposition. Lead review/approval of batch records, investigations, deviations, CAPAs, change controls, validations, and release packages. Ensure GMP compliance, data integrity, inspection readiness, and support CMC submissions, regulatory responses, and continuous improvement across internal teams and external CDMOs.

Lead strategy and execution of externally sponsored research for a disease area, ensuring scientific rigor, regulatory compliance, funding allocation, and milestone tracking. Collaborate cross-functionally with Medical, Clinical, Legal, and External Investigators, chair scientific committees, supervise an ESR manager, and optimize program scalability and operations.
